Our services
We believe in consultancy grounded in value-driven realism, delivering meaningful change to strengthen and sustain human and natural ecosystems.
Our value proposition lies in going beyond measuring impact to uncover the broader value of our clients’ work. We apply a multidisciplinary lens that combines expertise in organisational governance and management with deep sectoral knowledge and strong contextual sensitivity. This enables us to approach every mandate holistically, taking into account the full ecosystem of stakeholders, governance dynamics, political realities, cultural contexts and institutional particularities that shape implementation.

Evaluation
Ian C. Davies Conseil Inc. provides a range of evaluative services, from large-scale and complex evaluations to focused rapid reviews. We work with organisations to help them make decisions that are informed by clear evidence-based insights about their performance and to surface and communicate their impact and overall value. We design tailored evaluative frameworks and work collaboratively so that findings and recommendations are relevant, practical and actionable.

Governance
We advise and support governance functions, boards of directors and governing bodies to fulfill their oversight, fiduciary and accountability responsibilities. We help clients provide strategic direction, establish priorities and strengthen decision-making processes to support effective organisational governance.

Public financial management
The allocation and use of public funds by governments, multilateral and bilateral organisations, foundations and other organisations are key determinants of the value generated for communities and society. Governments have a central responsibility for the sound management of public resources, supported by parliamentary oversight and appropriate regulatory frameworks.

Capacity for sustainability
Sustainability is a function of the capacity of systems—organisations, institutions and networks—to navigate change in complex and uncertain environments, and to maintain and generate value for populations over time. It also depends on the quality and adaptability of the relationships between systems.

Navigating complexity
We work with organisations, networks and programmes to navigate and manage interventions in complex and increasingly unpredictable contexts. We draw on a social justice approach and an understanding of complex adaptive systems to examine the interconnections between sustainability, climate resilience, human rights, gender equity and social inclusion.
Areas of expertise
Our expertise spans development-related areas such as results-based management, evaluation, and institutional learning across a wide range of sectors, including social and economic development, humanitarian action, climate, environment, international trade, culture, and multilateral cooperation.
